New Look...?

yesterday was Ma'al Hijrah.. & what did i do..? stepped into a barber shop after years of not visiting it... yeap, haven't had a haircut for like few years now... so what's new look..? being the lazy old me, had it cut as short as i possibly can, told the barber to use #2, which less than 3mm...

year end blues

yeap.. it's that time again - the year end. as per previous years, no work from christmas till new year, which is one whole week of doing nothing, usually... well, actually there were plans but most of it didn't go as planned.

anyway, hopefully this year would be better, got few plans set to go, tho 1 already down the drain.. guess i'm being too nice & not as pushy as others - responded to others' needs & all, but when it comes to own needs, they are none around, most would be to bz enjoying their problem-free life.. but they'd come back for more ears&shoulders eventually. guess the 'replacement pleaser' tag kinda suit me well for now... sigh.... :-/

things to do (hopefully get to be done)

- renew my expired amatuer radio license

- get the car's minor glitches look by a mechanic (more money flying away there)

- kemas rumah incl. shop for a new bedsheet (LOL...!!)

- settle things with banks, pnb, imigration & some other authority bodies

- get son his driving license (more money fly away..!!)

- cut my hair.... (still thinking..)

as for now, try to move my lazy ass to go & look for some food....

yeap.. got the replacement solenoid for my ceptor, after a long wait.... phew..! felt like running back home right there & then to fix it & have a go... ;-)

ok, got right at it once arrived home after work, marker's fixed alright, dry-fired it & seems ok, no leak.. just can't wait till the weekend to have a real go at it. marker might need some re-tuning tho as i've been running it with a bad noid for quite some time, which of course needs lotsa tweaking to make it work, did everything possible up until the very end of its life.. RIP old friend.. then, borrowed friend's noid taken from his unused marker as replacement, but not that great (maybe coz it's not mine - the 'feel' is just not there.. )

nice isn't it..? comes complete with everything - just need to fix it to the ram & connect the wires... ;-)

friday
- got news on FB, a friend of a friend passed away due to spinal cancer, still young but then it's God's will, we can never tell... many condolences to her family..
- heard from a friend, which is also on FB, her team's pb equipments was stolen from their car..! not 2, not 2 but 4 set of markers..! 3 egos & an etek2, man..! that's a lot.. not accounting the harnesses, apparels etc.. that's more than rm10k of stuff lost just like that. to make it worse, they are actually on the way for a tourney... dad must've a damn big headache... :-s

saturday
- got myself an Invert hoodie jacket.. at a very special price, not bad, huh..? ;-)
- found a black/grey rotor, can change with my blue rotor lah.. now only need a balck/grey jesrsey & pants lah...

sunday
- friend's wedding.. meaning gather with other friends for makan free... ;-p

so, overall..? i'd say so-so lah.. win some, lose some...

well, finally decide to combine both blogspot into one, which is this one lah.. the other blog has only 2 entries in it, plus this one's url is better.. ;-)

was searching high & low for ways to do it, when all u need to do is copy the old post & put it, under the same old date.. & wallaa..! it fit perfectly on ur blog as if written on ori date... nice ek..?

hmm.. MacDev came out with their own brand of paint, & the package was designed by Sir Caranthir of villainpaintball. works of locals on international products, not bad i'd say... congrats to caranthir for gaining the trust of ppl at macdev for that... ;-)

Badman's back...

yeah.. & here we go again.. another try updating (actually maintaining) the blog. ;-P
just came back from the Penang C&C, held in the vacinity of the War Museum in Batu Maung, Penang. Had no intention to go for the C&C but then, last minute change of venue - from Pulau Jerjak to the War museum. Just the place i plan to visit.. so with free transport & all, apa lagi.. 'on' je lah.. hehhee

pheew..! man.. it's been more than 2 yrs since i wrote here, totally forgot abt it.. :-/ guess it's the paintballing thingy that kept me off lotsa things these past 2 yrs.. a bit slow on that already since not handling any team anymore - just an ordinary team member now.. ;-)

maybe i'd link this one to my other pc-related blog or maybe just let this one as a standalone... see la how rajin i am later.. (decide to transfer this blog here instead - 10th dec'08)

update on my ham activity..
nothing much, guess i'm kinda re-starting back on this. just got myself an FT-60R yesterday, still trying to figure out its full functionality. that gonna take some time i guess - depends on how bz or rajin i am at that time...

ok, time to shower & go out to see a friend & collect the 'tak jadi' payment of the handy... need the money for jerantut trip this weekend - cousin's 2nd daughter getting married, have to attend this one as i missed her 1st daughter's... 8-|

08 1st MPOC

1st leg of MPOC's coming, 16th ~ 17th feb to be exact. team's name changed again, from now on we are known as team ISIRIMBA, taken from owner's Kem Isi Rimba. new coach/capt appointed & few changes are abt to come - less performing players will be sitted out from the 1st leg, altho some still remain in the roster, a few would have to say "good bye" to the team. maybe the boss would create another team in the lower division? only time will tell...

new appointed coach/capt is actually a senior player from a quite well-known team which was disbanded some time ago & now, a few of them are coming to make a come-back thru the the team, we'll see how lah.. if my service is still needed, will definitely be there... else, just give them the much needed support lah...

just remembered that i have another blog, created early last year.. thinking of maybe just keeping to one single blog but then see first lah... maybe put that one mainly on ham & just link it to here... tgk tahap rajin camana..

..& here we go again...

well, here's the 2nd time, after pushing myself for it... i mean the posting la.. berat tul nak tulis padahal dalam kepala macam macam ada...

- unknown person using an unfamilliar name online just to flame ppl & create havoc, so what else is new, huh..? there would always be this type of coward, who doesn't even know where to stand. guess by being unknown it's easier for them to flame others, & also it's easier for this is the lalang to switch side, eating up on their own words without anybody knowing. in the political world, these would be the potential ISA candidate as they have no other purpose in life except to establish hatred among groups of ppl...

- new format in the MPOC, plus competing in the 1st div., it's really a challenge for the team this year... esp. with new members who're freshly from D3.. really hope the team can withstand the fight & not finishing with zero... or at least won't make it an easy win for the more seasoned D1 teams.. God-willing...!

new year.. new season...

it's a brand new year, brand new season for paintball with a brand new team.. yeap, will be playing with team Mayhem of Isi Rimba this season. apart from the new year & all, this season also see the introduction of a new format for the MPOC - the M7 superlite... a race-for-3 games within 10mins game time. man... it's gonna be one tiring tourney..!

new year, which also means new effort to keep the blog going after abandoning a few sites last year.. hopefully this year would be better than before, not only paintball but everything - studies, work & of course gals... ;-)
